Operation of the regenerative power supply
The MCR91A..regenerative power supply can be controlled with a MOVI-C® CONTROLLER via fieldbus or digital inputs. When using a MOVI-C® CONTROLLER, SEW-EURODRIVE recommends using the MOVIKIT® EnergyRecovery software module which is included in the MOVIRUN® flexible software platform of the MOVI-C® CONTROLLER at no extra charge.
The functions of MOVIKIT® EnergyRecovery are as follows:
- Automatic parameterization of the MCR91A.. regenerative power supply for operation on the SBusPLUS system bus and, as an option, on the higher-level fieldbus via the MOVISUITE® engineering software.
- Transmission of status information and measured values relating to the MCR91A.. regenerative power supply to the MOVI-C® CONTROLLER.
- Control of the function blocks (FCB) of the MCR91A.. regenerative power supply via the MOVI-C® CONTROLLER.
- Automatic connecting of the MCR91A.. regenerative power supply to the fieldbus and provisioning of a fieldbus profile for control by a higher-level controller.
Startup, configuration, IEC programming, process data assignment, and error management are described in the document "MOVIKIT® EnergyRecovery manual". If MOVIKIT® EnergyRecovery is not used, the supply and regenerative module can alternatively be controlled via process data or digital inputs.
