Immediate curve change

An immediate curve change can be implemented as follows, for example:

1. Call up another instance of the MC_CamIn function block.
2. Transfer the desired new curve to this instance as CamTableID.
3. Set the BufferMode input to "mcAborting".
4. Apply a rising edge to the Execute input at the desired time.

The following trace recording shows the resulting setpoint curve. As "eDirect" is set for the RampInMode input, the setpoint curve jumps to Execute on the rising edge without a transition to the new cam profile.
