Creating a hardware binding request file and copying it to the engineering PC

  • You have started the visualization.
  1. Run one of the following commands to create a hardware binding request file. You can optionally specify the file name for the hardware binding request file during creation. If the required file name is to include spaces, these must be enclosed in quotes.
    sewlicmgr create HwBinding or
    sewlicmgr create HwBinding My_HWID-Request-File.xml
    • The hardware binding request file has been created.
  2. Switch to the "Files" tab.
  3. Copy the created hardware binding request file from the "data" directory of the visualization device to your engineering PC.
