Activating a software license on a Windows device
Once a software license has been activated, it is bound to the hardware used. It is not possible to change this binding or undo it. Therefore, make sure to use the right activation method. For further information, refer to chapter Assignment to the target system.
Depending on the hardware, use one of the following licensing types:
- SMID licensing: MOVI‑C® CONTROLLER
- HWID licensing: other hardware
- FMU licensing: other hardware
Note that the compatibility of the software has only been tested with Windows 10 devices.
