Purchasing software licenses

Software licenses for MOVIKIT^® software modules are available both via the general sales channels of SEW-EURODRIVE and via the Online Support.

Individual purchase

You will receive a license key for the software license you have purchased, with which you can later activate the software module on a hardware device. Together with a compatible hardware component

If you purchase the software licenses together with a compatible hardware component of the MOVI‑C^® modular automation system (e.g. MOVI-C^® CONTROLLER, MOVIDRIVE^®, etc.), the software licenses will be activated on the device or its memory card before leaving the factory. You will receive a complete, operational system.

Together with a storage medium

If you purchase the software licenses together with a storage medium (only MOVI-C^® CONTROLLER type UHX.. and FHX..), they will be activated on the memory card before leaving the factory. You will receive a pre-installed storage medium that is ready for use. Purchasing a new storage medium may be necessary, for example, if the existing storage medium is defective.
