Residual current device

WARNING

No protection against electric shock if an incorrect type of residual current device is used.
Severe or fatal injuries.
  • The product can cause direct current in the PE conductor. If a residual current device (RCD) or a residual current monitoring device (RCM) is used for protection in the event of a direct or indirect contact, only a type B RCD or RCM is permitted at the supply end of the product.

If using a residual current device is not mandatory according to the standards, SEW­EURODRIVE recommends not to use a residual current device.
