To start up the additional function "Combined encoder evaluation", first use the suggested values and adjust them if the result is not satisfactory. For applications with low natural frequencies, such as storage/retrieval systems and hoists with long, stretchable ropes or belts (e.g., in belt hoists), it is recommended to determine the time constant and optimize the P gain of the position controller.
