Description: DC link overvoltage

 

Response: Output stage inhibit + line contactor unchanged + Module bus response "critical" + ESO

Cause

Measure

Maximum permitted DC link voltage exceeded.

– Check the connection of the braking resistor.

– Decrease deceleration.

– Check the configuration of the braking resistor (resistance value).

Error: 7.4 (0704hex | 1796dec)

Description: DC link undervoltage

 

Response: Output stage inhibit + open line contactor + module bus response "Critical"

Cause

Measure

DC link voltage exceeded lower limit and output stage inhibited by hardware.

– Reduce the dynamic load change from regenerative operation to motoring operation.

– Check previous error, e.g. line phase failure or power off in motoring operation.

Error: 7.9 (0709hex | 1801dec)

Description: Short circuit in DC link

 

Response: Output stage inhibit + open line contactor + module bus response "Critical"

Cause

Measure

Short circuit in the DC link.

– Check the DC link connection.

– Remove the short circuit.

– Check the supply voltage pre-charge.

Error: 7.10 (070Ahex | 1802dec)

Description: Pre-charging timeout

 

Response: Output stage inhibit + open line contactor + module bus response "Critical"

Cause

Measure

Capacitive load too high in the DC link.

Check the project planning.

Error: 7.12 (070Chex | 1804dec)

Description: Load before connecting the grid

 

Response: Output stage inhibit + open line contactor + module bus response "Critical"

Cause

Measure

The DC link was overloaded after completion of pre-charging and before connecting the supply system. The delay in connection of the supply system can be caused by a second line contactor, for example.

Eliminate the cause for the delayed grid connection.

Error: 7.18 (0712hex | 1810dec)

Description: Capacity measurement failed

 

Response: Warning + line contactor unchanged + module bus response "Warning"

Cause

Measure

The error can be caused as follows:

– The DC link capacity is too low.

– The precharging device is defective for devices in parallel operation.

– The connection of the charging current measurement is defective.
