Operation of explosion-protected motors

The inverters of the MOVI-C^® modular automation system are suitable for the operation of explosion-protected motors. For SEW-EURODRIVE's explosion-protected motor series, the required parameters are automatically set during startup.

Note that it is not permissible for the inverter to evaluate the motor temperature sensor. Use an external trip switch that complies with Directive 2014/34/EU for evaluating the motor temperature sensor.
