Project planning procedure

The following flow diagram illustrates the procedure for configuring a MOVIONE^® drive unit consisting of a gear unit, a motor and an inverter. This is a highly simplified illustration that serves to clarify the process. For example, the following points are left out:

• Reduction of the available nominal torque at low speeds
• Capacity utilization of the field weakening range operation
• Project planning of a mechanical brake
• Checking non-cyclical special loads
• Consideration of the mass moment of inertia ratio
• Detailed calculation of permitted overhung loads
