Mounting flange /F

As an alternative to foot mounting, a mounting flange is available for gear units with universal housing /HU up to size 210. The gear unit can be attached to the operator's machine via the following 2 design types.

The mounting flange in B14 design has an outer centering and retaining threads.

In addition, a B5 design is available for sizes X130 – 190. The mounting flange is designed with through bores.

• The mounting flange can be combined with all output shaft types. However, it is not possible to use the mounting flange in combination with the standard sealing system.
• For mounting flanges with external overhung loads, contact SEW‑EURODRIVE.
• Observe the limitations for hollow-shaft gear units in chapter Gear unit mounting for hollow shaft gear units.
• For gear units with mounting flange, observe the maximum permitted weight of the motor mounted via the motor adapter (see chapter "Motor adapter"). A combination of foot and flange mounting is not permitted.
