Safety encoders approved by SEW‑EURODRIVE

WARNING

Loss of the safety sub-function due to use of outdated AS7W or AG7W safety encoders, e.g. in existing systems.

  • Using the following safety encoders with MOVISAFE® CS..A safety options is not permitted:
  • AS7W: Part numbers 13630733 and 13630768
  • AG7W: Part number 13630849
  • Use the latest version of the AS7W/AG7W safety encoders.

The following safety encoders from SEW-EURODRIVE are permissible for use with MOVISAFE® CS..A safety options. For further information on the safety encoders, refer to the corresponding documentation.

INFORMATION

  • When using the MOVISAFE® CSS..A safety option, only safety encoders from SEW-EURODRIVE are permitted.
  • If safety encoders not approved by SEW-EURODRIVE are used, the MOVISAFE® CSA31A safety option must be used.
