Registration via Bluetooth® interface

INFORMATION

If you are using the web app, you must have downloaded, set up, and opened the IoT App Connect driver software. For more information, refer to chapter IoT App Connect (driver software).
  • You wrote down the password on the back of the module before assembly.
  • You have mounted the module to the required inverter.
  • You have switched on the inverter.
  • You have activated the Bluetooth® interface of your mobile device or your computer.
  1. Open the IoT app on the mobile device or open the web app and log in.
  2. Select [Add product] in device management to open the menu for adding devices.
  3. Select the Bluetooth® icon:
    • Modules are searched for and found modules are displayed. Modules whose name has not been changed are displayed with their MAC ID.
  4. Select the required module.
    • The "Connect to CAB11A module" dialog window opens.
  5. Enter the password from the nameplate of the module and confirm your entry via [Connect].
    • The device is synchronized and the data is loaded.
  • The module is logged in to the IoT app.
  • The IoT app can communicate with the inverter.
  • In device management, the symbol of the inverter is displayed with the module.
  • Connections with modules that have already been logged in are established automatically as soon as you select the inverter with the module in device management.
    INFORMATION: If you use the web app, IoT App Connect must also be open to establish connections that have already been set up.

INFORMATION

SEW-EURODRIVE recommends that you set your own password after logging in. Assign the password in the IoT app via the context menu of the module. For further information, refer to chapter Password.
