A supply and regenerative module can supply up to 15 axis modules with energy, both single-axis and double-axis modules. Regenerative energy is fed back into the power supply.
In the event of a problem with the capacity of the supply system, the regenerative function can be deactivated. A brake chopper then transfers the regenerative energy to a braking resistor. In this case, the device behaves like an MDP90A-… power supply module without energy recovery.
