Test rate in safe braking systems

The frequency of execution of a brake test is defined using the test rate. The brake test must be called by the user. SEW-EURODRIVE recommends calling up via a safe digital input or a safety controller.

The test rate must be defined by the user in a machine-specific way. Applicative and standards requirements must be taken into consideration when doing so.
