Motor selection for synchronous motors

Requirements for a synchronous motor include speed dynamics, stable speed, positioning accuracy and high energy efficiency. As a rule, synchronous motors and the corresponding inverters are designed with a high short-time overload capacity. This allows a multiple of the nominal torque.
