Timer

The ECC-DFC-24-00 fieldbus controller comes equipped with various timing functions to configure and operate the conveyor line as flexibly as possible. The following table describes the basic configuration of the most important ZPA functions and the possible applications.

Logical state ZPA: Description

Coasting time

Feed-out: Coasting time of the rollers after the material left the sensor (sensor edge from 1 to 0).

In case of long conveying zones, the time must be increased because the conveyor rollers might otherwise stop before the material is completely removed from the zone.

Sensor coasting time forward

Feed-in, accumulate command set: Coasting time of the rollers after the material entered the sensor area (sensor edge from 0 to 1).

Influences the position of the material to be conveyed within the zone if the material is to accumulate.

Sensor debouncing

Feed-in: Sensor debouncing time, time after which the signal state of the sensor can be read unambiguously by the logic.
