In braking operations within the cycle duration T_D (standard: T_D ≤ 120 s), the cdf braking power can be used to determine the resulting continuous resistor dissipation (100% cdf power) by means of the power diagrams. The right-hand Y axis shows the 100% cdf power. Observe the conditional peak braking power due to the DC link voltage when determining the load capacity.
