Assembly instructions
The following requirements apply to the connection leads:
- Single conductors can be used for the digital I/O connections.
- If the I/O cables are longer than 1 m, install them with shielding.
- Connect the stepper motor and encoder using shielded cables.
- If the length is more than 1 m, shield the motor power supply cable.
- Route shielded cables directly below the module on the shield bus provided for this purpose:
- Connect the shield bus to the base plate using a local, low-impedance connection.
- Connect the shields of the external cables to earth/ground at the entrance to the control cabinet.
