Mounting the drive unit
Mount the drive unit on the shaft as follows:
- Perform the steps according to the chapter Installation notes.
- Apply NOCO-Paste.
- Spread NOCO-Paste thoroughly.
- Install the shaft and secure it in an axial manner (installation is facilitated by using a mounting device). Refer to the following figure for correct installation.
- The 3 installation types are described below:
- 3A: Standard scope of delivery
- 3B: Assembly/disassembly kit for customer shaft with contact shoulder. Observe the information in the product manual > chapter Design notes for gear units with hollow shaft and key.
- 3C: Assembly/disassembly kit for customer shaft without contact shoulder. Observe the information in the product manual > chapter Design notes for gear units with hollow shaft and key.
- Tighten the retaining screw with the specified torque (see following chapter "Tightening torques for retaining screws").
