Acceleration
The acceleration calculation determines the mean acceleration in the time range set via the filter time acceleration. The quantization fault decreases with increasing filter time. In return, the response time increases in accordance with the filter time.
Quantization fault_a in min-1 s =
(120 s x min-1) × scaling_factor_denominator / (scaling_factor_numerator x (parameterized_filter_time)2)

- Scaling_factor_numerator (= PPR count of the selected encoder):
- 8708.1 (encoder 1)
- Scaling_factor_denominator: 1
- The scaling factor is fixed based on the configured encoder type.
- Parameterized_filter_time:

In the case of safety encoders with MOVILINK® DDI, an additional fault of 0.6% of the actual acceleration is added to the process-related quantization fault:
