The drive is optionally available with the "BHA" holding brake.

The BHA brake type is a single-disk brake with 2 friction surfaces. The brake can be ordered for the drive as an option. It is fully integrated into the drive and is powered and controlled internally via the drive electronics.

The brake operates according to the spring-force brake principle, while the braking torque is built up when the power is switched off. It is designed as a holding brake with emergency stop function. The low mass moment of inertia enables optimal dynamics.
