Integrated components

The SCM Multipackage includes the following components:

• CiA402 device handler
• The CiA402 device handler connects the axis interface and the SCM axis in compliance with the CiA402 standard.
• SCM Startup Plug-in
• The SCM Startup Plug-in provides a quick and simple basic startup of the SCM axes.
• ESI File Servo Inverter
• The ESI file is the device description file, and provides smooth operation of the EtherCAT^® master, the MOVI-C^® CONTROLLER.
• IEC module library “SEW SCM Utilities”
• The "SEW SCM Utilities" IEC module library contains prefabricated modules which provide functionality for the application program and simplify implementation. This is based on an initialization module.
• "SCM project creation" Python script
• The Python script automatically creates the code:
• The "SEW SCM Utilities" block library is added. The EtherCAT^® stations are set to the SCM axes.
• The logical devices are updated on "CiA402 Devices".
• The initialization of the "User_PRG" is implemented.
• The most important settings can be made. The control behavior of SCM axes can be optimized depending on the application.
