Touchprobe

The "touchprobe" function can be used to record process values in a controlled manner when a specific switching event occurs, such as an edge change during a zero pulse of the encoder or at a digital input. For example, a light barrier signal can record the actual position of a distance encoder. The inverter passes this value on to a higher-level controller.
