Jog mode
Position-controlled (100) or speed-controlled (101) process with selection of the direction of rotation. Activating both directions of rotation or not activating a direction of rotation at all will stop an ongoing movement.
The two operating modes differ in their behavior when software limit switches have been configured. In position-controlled jog mode (100), positioning is performed directly onto the software limit switch if software limit switches have been configured, and a fault is issued once positioning is complete. In speed-controlled jog mode (101), a configured software limit switch is hit and only then is deceleration initiated. The drive stops beyond the software limit switch.
