MOVIKIT® PowerMode in storage/retrieval systems
MOVIKIT® PowerMode enables an energy storage system to be connected to a storage/retrieval system with MOVIKIT® StackerCrane. The connection of the MOVIKIT® StackerCrane takes place automatically in this case. The complete range of functions is available in a purely configurable form.
By connecting an energy storage system to the storage/retrieval system via MOVIKIT® PowerMode, load peaks can be smoothed and the maximum electrical connected load can be reduced by up to 80%. In addition, the energy storage unit enables the SRS to reset the load handling device to the home position in the event of a power failure so that positioning can be continued in a defined manner when it restarts. Furthermore, the integrated function "Height-dependent charge control" enables fully automatic adjustment of the required charge level of the energy storage unit. The availability of the energy storage system is reported automatically to the MOVIKIT® StackerCrane. The MOVIKIT® StackerCrane then responds with the operating mode that is required by the status of the energy storage unit: "Wait", "Emergency stop", "Controller inhibit", or "Reduced operation".
