Thermal motor protection

Some MOVIGEAR® designs have a temperature sensor to protect them from overheating.

  1. Check whether the connection cables of the temperature sensor are connected in the connection box in accordance with chapter “Terminal assignment”.
  2. NOTICE! Overheating of the motor due to the low thermal time constants of the motor winding. Damage to propertyActivate this function if the inverter has a current monitoring function (I2t, rms current monitoring). Activate this function if the inverter has a motor model for thermal protection of the motor.
