Operating modes
Note the following with regard to the operating modes:
- For operating function block FCB 12, the configuration settings made in the MOVISUITE® configuration apply.
- Modulo operating modes can only be used if a cycle limit is set in the Limit values configuration menu.
- "Automatic" operating mode requires that "Modulo minimum" is set to "0" and "Modulo maximum" to "360°"in the Limit values configuration menu. During operation, the limit values are adjusted automatically using the "Number of tools" parameter.
- The parameters "Number of tools" and "Diameter" can be set for axes without enable independent of the selected operating mode. The values specified via fieldbus are adopted with a rising edge of the enable (xEnable_ApplicationStop AND xEnable_EmergencyStop). Referencing is necessary again after changing the "Number of tools".

The following chapters provide a cycle diagram for each operating mode to help you better understand the operating principle. They also provide a process sequence with a description of the signals to be set and of the signal states.
