EtherCAT^® cycle 1 ms, distributed clocks cycle 1 ms

• MOVITRAC^® and MOVIGEAR^® can also synchronize to 1 ms distributed clocks without causing an error. However, synchronization is ambiguous in this case. Several MOVITRAC^® or MOVIGEAR^® units can be in phase or can have an offset of 1 ms. Accordingly, a "dead time offset" of 1 ms can occur between two devices operated interpolated with the same setpoints.
• Generating substitute values for interpolated setpoints (FCB10) is not provided for this case. It can happen that in case of a failure of the process data the setpoint position stops and is not extrapolated at "constant speed".
