Protection of the STO control

If you are using a device variant without integrated safety options, the STO safety function is implemented exclusively in electronic form, without the use of software. In this case, the device’s software functions have no effect on the STO safety function. A potential attacker has no means of compromising the safety functions by manipulating software or data transmitted to the device.
