Removing the product from its intended environment

If you consider the data stored on the product relevant to IT security, remove the data in accordance with the section Secure removal of data stored in the product.

Although this product does not independently transmit data to devices in its environment, other devices in the environment, such as controllers, HMIs, engineering PCs, or operator panels, can read and store data from the product. This includes reference data, configuration data, log data and other data belonging to the product.

If the data stored in the environment is classified as relevant for IT security, remove this data according to the documentation of the respective devices in the environment.
