Installation requirements
Make sure that the following requirements are met before installation:
- The data on the nameplate of the drive matches the voltage supply system.
- The drive is undamaged (no damage caused by transportation or storage).
- The ambient temperature corresponds to the specifications in chapter "Technical data". Note that the temperature range of the gear unit might also be restricted, see operating instructions of the gear unit.
- The MOVIMOT® drive must not be installed under the following harmful ambient conditions:
- In potentially explosive atmospheres
- Oils
- Acids
- Gases
- Vapors
- Radiation
- etc.
- When the drive is installed in abrasive ambient conditions, protect the output end oil seals against wear.
