Braking resistors with internal thermal protection
Flatpack braking resistors have internal thermal protection (fuse cannot be replaced) that interrupts the current circuit in the event of overload. The configuration guidelines and the documented assignments of the drive inverter and braking resistor must be adhered to.
SEW-EURODRIVE recommends intrinsically safe braking resistors in conjunction with decentralized technology, as they can be used without additional wiring. The following flat-mounted braking resistors are available in conjunction with MOVIPRO® technology:
