In the following example, the slave axis follows the master axis via a sinusoidal curve profile. Initially, the zero crossing of the slave and master axes is superimposed. Two relative phase shifts of 90° each are then carried out. After the phase shift, the zero crossing of the master axis is shifted by +180° from the slave's point of view.
