Category: Phasing
In the contexts of Gearing, Camming and CombineAxes (Master1, Master2), an axis can follow a master axis. A phase shift can also be controlled in any context. In principle, a phase shift is retained even if the relevant function block (e.g. MC_CamIn) is canceled by another function block (e.g. MC_Stop) and then reactivated with a new edge at the Execute input. The phase shift is also retained if a new edge at the Execute input of the function block is used to switch to another master axis or another curve.
The user has the option of using the function block MC_SEW_SetAbsolutePhaseShift to set the phase shift to a specific value (e.g. back to 0) in any context.
