Creating a license file and loading it onto the controller

  1. Transfer the generated license request file from the MOVI-C® CONTROLLER to your engineering PC.
  2. On your engineering PC, open the "Software licenses" website in the SEW‑EURODRIVE Online Support (https://www.sew-eurodrive.de/os/licensing).
  3. In the "License files" tab, click the [Browse…] button next to the "LicenceFileRequest file" field and upload the generated license request file.
  4. Click the [Create license file] button.
    • The license file and an overview of the software licenses which it contains are displayed as the result.
  5. To download the license file to your engineering PC, click the [Download license file] button.
  6. Switch to the IEC Editor and, via the "Files" tab, copy the downloaded license file to the "data" directory on the visualization device.
