Procedure in the event of a fuse tripping
If a fuse in the energy storage system has been tripped, do not replace the fuse while the storage unit is charged. Disconnect the system from the grid and discharge the energy storage unit. Only electrically skilled persons are permitted to discharge the energy storage unit and install the short circuit connector. For further information, see chapter Safe state.
If the main fuse must be replaced after it has been tripped, also check the subfuse.
If a fuse has been tripped, check all current-carrying parts and replace these parts in the event of damage. If an overload occurs with other disconnecting components, e.g. contactor, thermal circuit breaker, etc., replace the entire component.
