Speed cams
"Speed cams" can be used to reduce the maximum speed at the aisle ends in cam jog mode (130), cam positioning mode (430), energy-optimized XY positioning mode (1200), and mechanics-optimized positioning mode (1210). In the configuration of the MOVIKIT® StackerCrane MultiMotion and the MOVIKIT® StackerCrane MultiAxisController, the "Speed cam" configuration menu is additionally available under "Monitoring functions".
The following application examples are available for speed cams:
- Reduction of the maximum speed
- A reduction of the maximum speed at the ends of the storage aisles to 70% can reduce the buffer size because the maximum energy to be absorbed is reduced by 50%.
- Buffer travel
- In some automated warehouses, the first and last storage spaces are located in the buffer area. The buffers must generally not be approached at maximum speed. This means the maximum speed is reduced up to (negative direction of travel) / from (positive direction of travel) of the configured position.
