Requirements

• The CS..A safety option supports PROFIsafe versions 2.4 and 2.6.
• The higher-level F‑PLC must support the iPar CRC mechanism.
• For a successful startup, you need the "Assist CS.." parameterization tool.
• Additional requirements when using MOVISAFE^® CS..A with PROFIsafe via PROFINET fieldbus connection:
• TIA portal with STEP7 Safety option (for Siemens controllers)
• Device description file GSDML-Vx.yz-SEW-MOVI-C-Dezentralized-Electronicsjjjjmmdd-hhmmss.
• Download from www.sew-eurodrive.com. Always use the latest device description file (iPar_CRC for default parameterization: D9FEE686).
• To make it possible for the safety option to be configured correctly in the device configuration, it is necessary to ensure that the current version of the device description file is installed. The safety option must be configured in the device configuration via drag and drop from the hardware catalog into the slot of the SEW-EURODRIVE drive system enabled for it. The following settings must be checked so that error-free PROFIsafe communication with the safety option can be established:
• F-Source address (F_Source_Add)
• F-Destination address (F_Dest_Add)
• F-Monitoring time (F_WD_Time)
• F iParameter CRC (F_iPar_CRC)

INFORMATION

The PROFIsafe addresses must be unique in the existing network structure. Depending on the network structure, the safety option can be configured via the Address type parameter to ensure the required uniqueness.
