Prerequisites

Proceed in the following order:

1. Start up the basic device and the fieldbus.
2. Open the "Assist CS.." parameterization tool and log in.
3. Configure the required safety subfunctions.
4. The safety subfunctions can be activated via parameterization, safe digital inputs F-DI, or safe process data. Activation via safe process data is performed with logic "0".
