Devices

The "Devices" tab lists all devices or device options added via the device scan. Each device or device option is listed as a separate entry in the list. Subcomponents subordinate to a controller, such as safety cards and inverters, are shown as subentries and can be expanded using the [+] button. Search and filter functions can be used to limit the number of devices that are displayed.

Devices/device options added via the device scan:

  • Unique PROFINET name or device signature
  • Unique serial number (asset ID), online availability and, if applicable, status tag (NEW or DEVICE CHANGE DETECTED). INFORMATION: To remove the tags, select the entries and use the “Remove tag [New]” or “Remove tag [Device change detected]” functions under "Advanced functions" > "Selection".
  • Network route for communication (IP address, EtherCAT®/SBusPLUS address, address of the device options). INFORMATION: Click to copy.
  • Assigned system level (The option "Display system level in the device management" must be activated in the "Settings" menu in the "Plant" tab in the "System levels" section.)
  • Assigned application type
  • Device groups created by the user and assigned manually

Check the availability (online/offline) of all devices
INFORMATION: Individual devices can be checked by selecting the option "Check online availability" in the "Advanced functions" > "Selection" menu.
