– Reduce the load.

– Reduce the PWM frequency.

– Reduce the ambient temperature.

The air circulation is disrupted. The maximum permitted heat sink temperature has been exceeded.

– Check air circulation.

– Ensure sufficient cooling.

The fan (if present) is defective. The maximum permitted heat sink temperature has been exceeded.
