IT security of the product
Wireless connections (e.g. Bluetooth®) are more susceptible to IT security attacks than wired connections. The risk that a change of parameters that cannot be detected externally may result in unexpected (but not uncontrolled) system behavior and may have a negative impact on operational safety, system availability, or data security is therefore increased with wireless connections. To minimize the described hazards, the product has various safety mechanisms that meet the three most important protection objectives:
- Confidentiality
- Integrity
- Availability
