Use of the short-circuit connector

After a successful discharge, the storage bundle must be short circuited. To do this, plug the short circuit connector into the discharge connection socket. If the short circuit connector is not available, you can alternatively make the short circuit with an insulated wire with a minimum cross-section of 1.5 mm². The short circuit connector makes safe service work possible by preventing new voltage from building up.

The short circuit connector comes in a conspicuous red color so that it is evident at a glance if the short circuit is present.

Remove the short circuit connector prior to every startup.
