Connecting a discharge resistor to the DC link

To discharge a capacitor module of type MDC90A-0120-.., you can connect a suitable braking resistor directly to the DC link. See chapter Connecting a discharge resistor to the DC link.

The following wiring diagram shows an example of an interconnection with a single braking resistor that can be used to discharge 1 – 2 capacitor modules.
