Configuration

  • "Module configuration" > "Control functions" configuration menu
  • Configure the dynamics for implementing the offset:
    • Balance controller > Max. compensation acceleration/deceleration
    • Balance controller > Max. compensation speed
  • Configure static offset (if offset is not specified via fieldbus) and the offset mode:
    • Skew offset > Offset
    • Skew offset > Offset mode
  • "Monitoring functions" > "Control functions" configuration menu
    • Monitoring window > Skew error window: Must be configured greater than the maximum offset difference (e.g., Offset1 = 200, Offset2 = -200, Window = 400).
    • Monitoring window > Skew window: Specifies in which position range "InSkew" is reported and thus reports the end of compensation travel. Comparable to the in-position bit.
  • "Module configuration" > "Fieldbus interface" configuration menu
    • Optional process data > Skew offset: Using this 8PD, it is possible to continuously change the skew offset for each member through the standardized fieldbus interface.
