MOVIKIT® MultiAxisController

 

 

    To control a lower-level MOVIKIT® MultiAxisController via the fieldbus interface, carry out the following additional steps. For more information, refer to the MOVIKIT® MultiAxisController manual.

    1. In the "Module configuration" > "Basic settings" configuration menu of the MOVIKIT® MultiAxisController, activate the "Access control" additional function ("Advanced" permission level required).
      • The fieldbus protocol of the MOVIKIT® MultiAxisController is extended by an additional process data word for regulating access control. To obtain information about the status of a lower-level axis, no access and therefore no change of access control is necessary.
    2. Activate the "Activate fieldbus connection" option in the "Module configuration" > "Fieldbus interface" configuration menu and configure the "Start address" for the axis in question. INFORMATION: Ensure that there are no overlaps with other software modules.
    3. When using the MOVIKIT® MultiAxisController as a subordinate node, an error is triggered if interpolation is interrupted by an FCB 01 (STO) in the basic setting. In order to be able to trigger an emergency stop without errors, it is recommended to change the response to "Warning". To do this, set the "Warning + Central stop profile" option in the "Axis group operation/Response axis group operation by FCB 01" choice box in the "Monitoring functions" > "Error response overview" configuration menu (this requires the "Advanced" permission level).
