MOVIKIT® Gearing
The MOVIKIT® Gearing is used to control the single axis via the fieldbus interface. For more information, refer to the MOVIKIT® Gearing manual. For startup, also perform the following steps.
- If you are not using the "Synchronous operation" additional function, select the "Deactivated" option for the synchronous operation function in the "Additional function" section in the "Module configuration" > "Basic settings" configuration menu of the MOVIKIT® Gearing.
- In the "Module configuration" > "Basic settings" configuration menu of the MOVIKIT® Gearing, activate the "Access control" additional function ("Advanced" permission level required).
- The fieldbus protocol of the MOVIKIT® Gearing is extended by an additional process data word for regulating access control. To obtain information about the status of a lower-level axis, no access and therefore no change of access control is necessary.
- Activate the "Activate fieldbus connection" option in the "Module configuration" > "Fieldbus interface" configuration menu and configure the "Start address" for the axis in question. Ensure that there are no overlaps with other software modules.
If you want to use the "Brake test" additional function, also carry out the following steps:
- In the "Module configuration" > "Basic settings" configuration menu, activate the "Brake test" additional function.
- The fieldbus protocol of the MOVIKIT® Gearing is extended by an additional process data word for the brake test. The fieldbus protocol of the axis with access control and brake test has a process data length of 10 process data words.
- Configure the "Brake test" additional function in the "Additional functions" > "Brake test FCB 21" configuration menu. For more information on the brake test additional function, refer to the MOVIKIT® Gearing manual.
