Connection configurations ZPA operation
The ECDriveS® ECC-DFC-24-00 fieldbus controller has a total of 4 M8 plug connectors to connect motors and sensors. Using both motor connections, you can connect any drive of the ECDriveS® series. Third-party motors cannot be connected.
If the sensors comply with the technical data of the connection, you can connect all commercially available optical sensors to the sensor connections.

To configure a functioning conveying logic, not all connections have to be assigned. The internal ZPA logic of the fieldbus controller automatically detects specific configurations and assigns the corresponding function. Valid and invalid configurations are described in the following chapters.
