- Before startup, make sure that the line cable is not energized and there are no impermissible operating states during configuration.
- For non-safety-related applications: In all TES31A network units, disconnect the jumper plugs of connection X5509.
- For safety-related applications: Ensure that the safety relays on all TES31A network units perform a safe disconnection at connection X5509. It is not enough to simply shut down the master in a safety-related manner. Observe the notes in section SAFS safety sub-function.
